The club is resident on the estate at Allerton Mauleverer, just off the A59, with archery all year round, outdoors in the summer and indoors through the winter.

Outdoor Shooting Field

The club has bosses set at both imperial and metric distances, and they remain outside all year.

The estate at Allerton Mauleverer provides a stunning backdrop for archery, surrounded by mature woodland and open countryside.

Clout Field

A clout field is to the right of the main field, meaning clout archery and target archery can take place at the same time.

Clout is shot at both imperial and metric distances.

Indoor shooting at the club

Winter Indoor Range

In the winter season (October–March) the club shoots on Friday evenings at St John Fisher’s in Harrogate.

We also gain access to a barn on the estate, providing a 7-day-a-week facility throughout the colder months. The barn is fully set up with multiple target faces, giving members a comfortable and convenient indoor option without having to travel far.

Safety first. We recommend that archers do not shoot alone, and only experienced senior archers should consider shooting alone. Junior archers must be accompanied by a guardian for safeguarding reasons and may only shoot if a senior AGB member is present on site.
